I play (piano) jazz standards with a bassist. BB works GREAT as our drummer.
I have found though many of the default kits seems unbalanced.
The intros and outs especially use a lot of tom toms and they are much louder than the other drums in the kit. It’s actually distracting.
I’ve bought the supplemental premium brushes kit and beats (love it) but I am wondering if there are other drum kits more suitable for classic jazz where a lighter and more crisp feel is needed.
