Boss RC-300 & Beat Buddy MIDI sync issue

Hey all! Does anyone here use the Boss RC-300 with their Beat Buddy?!? I’m having a problem with the BB acting as the slave. Not sure what my glitch is, but when I record a loop on the RC-300, then press the play peddle down again to end the loop recording, the BB changes the tempo as soon as I do that. I thought I had it working right, but I’m not sure if I messed with a simple setting on the RC-300 that I can’t find again, or if it just doesn’t work with the way I have it set up. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

OK, I found the answer! You need to have the rhythm running on the RC-300 (volume 0) for it to sync and it will work perfectly.

Hi Fred. Im having the same problem. Can you pls elaborate on how to solve this issue? I can sync RC300 to Beatbuddy with some songs usually with BPM 100 and up, but when I use some different drumbeats such as slow ballads like 70BPM, the loop and beat don’t sync anymore. Thanks in advance
