Hello everyone. It’s been a few months since I last checked the cloud for Custom mods to get inspiration from what my colleagues are doing. So, I have no trouble viewing the “Commands,” but when I try to go to “Browse Customs Modes,” nothing happens, and the program eventually freezes as if it’s stuck in a loop. Another symptom is that if I type in the search field, there’s a huge delay. I’m talking about version 1.82, which usually works perfectly on my Android phone. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Do you have any advice on how to fix it? Thank you in advance. (I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled, with no effect.)
I just tested Browse Custom Modes using the iOS version and the results pop up quickly.
Do you have any settings on your Android device such as an anti-virus app that’s blocking access to the Browse Custom Modes host? If so, try temporarily turning it off to test access. Are you using a cellular or a Wi-Fi connection?
You can also try testing from a different Internet or cellular connection.
If you’re still having problems, please let Support, support@singularsound.com know what’s going on.
UPDATE: I tried using the MIDI Maestro app in my iPad (which I have not done in a while) and it required me to sign in to my Google account. Once I did that, I could also access Browse Custom Modes. This is the first time I recall having to log on using my Google account to use the MM app.
Having said this, is it possible that the prompt to log into your Google account is in the background (behind the MM app display)?
And here’s something similar to your issue along with another solution: Midi maestro- browse custom modes
I had the same problem with the “custom modes”
Browse commands works but not the “Browse custom modes”
Sometimes the app crash and shutdown
Cellular or Wifi doens’t work
I uninstall the app 1.8.2 and reinstall and it works now
but I lose all (but can upload again from the cloud)
Android 12
It’s quite strange. What I don’t understand is why ‘Browse Commands’ appears in about 3/4 of a second, while ‘Browse Custom Modes’ takes me back to page 1 of my current custom mode after about a minute. This is on the same servers, using the same protocol. Fortunately, when I completely reinstalled everything, I didn’t lose any of my backups.
Sometimes it just takes up to 1-2 minutes to load, it does seem to get better after it loads a first time, leave it open like that for a couple of minutes they should show up

I’ve just repeated the same manipulations on another phone and it worked, so I deduce that the problem comes solely from my phone. They are set up the same way, though. But it’s internal to my system, so I’m marking the subject as resolved.
Not resolved and still get the problem
On my phone it switch back to the previous page , on my tablet the app freeze

Best regards

Update: If I wipe the whole cache of the app and relaunch the app, this ask me to use a google account (what I do) and “browse custom mode” work but just ONE TIME. if I close the app or restart my phone , same as on video happend
Update : I uninstall the app V 1.8.2 and found an old APK V 1.8.0 I installed this old version and update to 1.8.2 after 3 times it works. I decide to restart my phone and try again and It works now (at least for this moment). Will see in a few days
So, Steve, I tried what you just did: failure. My only observation is about the phones: it works perfectly on a Huawei and completely crashes on the Redmi Xiaomi. Although it used to work before. Strange. But I manage by juggling with the two phones
Edit: problem was not the phones. See below.
I try again today , and it works perfectly
Wil see in the coming day’s I use a One Plus Phone! And tablet Lenovo
I will try on the tablet today what I did on the post above to see if it’s the same result (install old Apk and update over this) . let you know about the result
"Bravo! You did well to insist. This time I did the same, but by taking version 1.8.2 from the APKPURE site, and this time I indeed have access to the ‘Browse Custom Modes’ files again. So it’s great!
It work now on my tablet with the procedure on post above
Install old version 1.8.0 and update it to 1.8.2 with the play store
It’s ok for now, will try in a few days again !
Solution
Testing after a few days , on phone and tablet
it works again .
