Im trying to figure out the best way to connect
My question is the beatbuddy midi sinc cable- does sound pass thru it or is it just for commands ( if i had no instrument plugged in) should the beat go to the aeros) as the only way i can get the drum beat into the aeros is from the output of beatbuddy to input of the areos
No sound. It just passes MIDI—the equivalent of digital instructions.

I was thinking that the drum beats should pass thru that cable and thought it might be some setting that i should change
