I play acoustic instruments and the button clicks on my original Aeros are very loud when I use a mic to capture loops.
I was thinking of buying a Gold Maestro in the hope that the click won’t be picked up but I can’t figure out whether I can use the Maestro to start and stop recording so I can avoid needing to use the Aeros for these functions.
Is this possible? Videos I have seen all still use the Aeros.
Thank you
Umm… thank you
Yes… can Start recording a part or track and can Commit recording which starts playback.
I think that it is Commit that I need… I guess that the click that I’m hearing in my recordings is the the click of the action of stopping / committing the recordings (not starting them) ?
Hi Andy,
Yes, you can start and stop the Aeros using the MIDI Maestro. You can find all supported commands on the MIDI commands google doc
CC: 43 Start / Stop Song | Command | Value | Description | Version added |
---|---|---|---|---|
Stop | 0 | Stops the Aeros playback according to the Stop Song behavior setting | 4.1.2 | |
Start | 1 | Starts the Aeros playback | 4.1.2 |
If you need any assistance with setting this up, feel free to email us at support@singularsound.com.
