I was wondering if the midi messages for teh start, stop, next part etc. could be recorded and added to a song as a way to enable autoplay of a song.
I guess it would be a sysex track or something.

That is not possible with the current capabilities of the Beat Buddy. However, you can make a pat of a song as long as you like. That is what we do with OPB songs. So, you can achieve the same results, but not by using midi message, as you suggest.
