Can you add beats to the BB mini 2?

I have a friend who is looking to get a Beat Buddy and I wanted to confirm that you cannot add/modify beats with the BB MINI 2. My assumption is that you get what ever beats that are installed at the time of purchase. Is this correct? Thanks!

Correct. The minis do not come with a means to modify the content.
