Hello, been working on this for hours and I cannot get my midi maestro to control my beat buddy to sequence through songs in my current folder, i.e next song, previous song. including chat gpt recomendation to send three command sequence of enger song list, next/prev song command and then laod song. nothing I try works does anybody have a known good command sequence that will allow you to scroll thorough songs in a folder from a midi controller? appreciate any help! Thanks Bob
You can use the scroll up / scroll down buttons in BeatBuddy mode on the MIDI Maestro to go to the next song. Alternatively, you can use the following command:
Command Name Value Action
| CC:119 | Scroll | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Scroll Down | 0 | Scrolls down song/folder list | |
| Scroll Up | 1 | Scrolls up song/folder list |
I tried a long time to get next song and previous song functionality on my beat buddy working from my midi maestro controller. I have tried a lot of different things with no joy. I am simply trying to be able to scroll forward or backwards in the current folder using commands from my midi meastro. Really appreciate any insights on nwhat commands I have to send to get this functionality working. Thank you in advance. Bob

Thank you.
I am so sorry, i llooked for it this morning and I could not find it so I thought I never pushed post. Thank you for the heads up , I iwll be more careful in the future.
OK, I will try to program this again, but I could not get this to work yesterday.
Thank you, I have it working now.
I’m programing my Boss GT 1000 to open a folder on my Beat Buddy and then scroll up and down through the songs. I’m stuck on the down scroll. The cc 119,0 only moves down one line and then stops working. I’ve tried everything with no luck. I can scroll up just fine with cc 119,1. Any suggestions?
If you can send a short video of the issue to support@singularsound.com, I’ll do my best to help troubleshoot. From what you’ve described, it sounds like the problem might be with the GT-1000, but send the video over and I’ll check it out.
Thanks for the response, Daniel. I’ll see if I can shoot the video over the next few days.
