Change Drum Set on multiple songs?

Can you change drum sets on multiple songs? Selecting a range of songs and changing the drum set, or selecting a folder and changing all songs in the folder to a different drum set?

BBMO v1.5.0

I have pretty much all BB content, from the default content to the last-available complete collections, my own songs, and other user-generated songs. Setting up a new card from scratch is taking a looooong time…

Hi Doug,

It is not possible to change the drum set for several songs at once, but there is a workaround you can use. For example, if you take the Ballad-mini folder, all songs are assigned to play with the Rock drum set.

What you could do is go to the drum sets tab and duplicate the Rock drum set. Locate the original Rock drum set, select all instruments inside the drum set from Metronome (33) to Shaker (82) and choose delete.

After deleting those instruments, click on the Import button at the top to import the instruments of a different drum set. This way, all songs that were playing with the Rock drum set will now play with your selected drum set. Just make sure to rename the drum set after making the changes.

Thanks. That sounds like more work than individually assigning drum sets.

Please consider this a feature request.

Have you considered not using the default drumset for any song and just assign the beat and drumset separately? I mean from the BB unit itself :yum:

If using midi then you can even save the settings per song etc :relieved:

Or if using just one drumset for bunch of songs then you’re good to go

Of course, I perform those operations on the pedal itself. But that’s still a one song at a time operation. My original, and it’s backup, card are bloated and dis-organized.

I’m making a whole new complete project for a new card, with added content and improved organization. The new editor hopefully can be improved to enable bulk operations like this on multiple songs.

True if you are using different drumset on each song :relieved:
