It would be very convenient to be able to switch between Sync Length and Sync Start & Length song settings after recording some track(s).
Use case: Generally for live performances it’s great having Sync Start & Length on, because it can make the timing more relaxed for recording your longest, typically harmonic, tracks like rhythm and bass.
However, sometimes, after recording the longest track(s), one would like to quickly record into, say the Chorus part, another short measure of extra percussion, like a bar of ride cymbal hits - but now you have to wait until the start of these long track(s) come around again.
So it would be really useful to be able to switch back to Sync Length from Sync Start & Lenght.
Freeform I understand would be difficult, but even just switching once per song from Sync Start & Length to Sync Length would be great - via midi or SuperSwitch.
This seems to be a song setting that necessarily needs to be baked in after recording starts (in quantized modes) ?
