Aeros before or after Strymon Iridium?
Definitely after. You want to be able to change tones between tracks, right? This is true for more than the Iridium; pretty much most pedals, preamps, etc.
There a few uses for having it in front:
- Dialing in a tone and setting levels. Record the straight guitar. Then sit back as it loops while you tweak signal chain … or walk around to sound check.
- Ambient, experimental, and other stuff where the effects are central to performance … sometimes more than instrument itself, and you want to transform the loop over time.
