OnSong app lets me send both the program (drum set/song pattern) AND the metronome sends out constant MIDI tempo. However, using Forscore (my preferred app) it will send the drum song pattern but not the MIDI tempo however, there seems to be a way to send it yet I have not figured it out.
Question:
Do I need to assign (inside the BeatBuddy) a separate MIDI channel for tempo control from the MIDI channel to receive the song/patch program? If I send HEX Code or Program change it changes the drum program from what was already intended to send. So, it seems to be sending two program changes and only one of course ends up receiving and the tempo send never works. I’m desperate to discover how to send MIDI tempo AND program change using Forscore.
