I have a song which is in 4/4 but has an odd bar of 2/4 right near the end of the verse (2 lots of 4/4 follow before the chorus). I’ve tried to implement this with one 10/4 bar transition fill. The problem is that even if the transition is cued to start on next measure it still only plays the first 4 beats of it.
I’m working around this by having no transition and putting the 10/4 section as a main loop in a part on it’s own. So I have to transition into the 10/4 bar (as I would anyway) and then transition out of it again.
