Digitech FS3x footswitch

hi all,
can anyone tell me why my Digitech FS3x foot switch shows it is latching and not momentarily, i have changed cables so it is not the cable that is faulty, i have opened up the pedal and it has not been tampered with, and one other question which button is supposed to be which?

Make sure you’re using TRS (stereo) cable and that it’s fully seated st both ends. Run the configuration again.

thank you…must have been the problem it, after a few attempts the problem went away or maybe i just pressed the button too long, but it suddenly showed momentary.
