Will DOP songs work with the drum sets that come with the Beatbuddy? Or do they require specific sets to play correctly?

They should be drums only, and then should work with the Beat Buddy drum sets, but it might depend on the song.

The DOP songs that I post to the forum generally use the SUB-Standard Pro Plain kit which can be used as a substitute for either the Standard drum set (which is a default content kit) or the Standard Pro (which is premium content). To be safe, you can use the Standard Pro kit (which is well worth the money that Singular Sound charges for it) for any of my songs that was crafted with a SUB-Standard Pro Plain kit. This way you’ll always have access to the full range of drum instruments when called for. If you were to use the Standard kit for a DOP song that has for example Congas and Timbales, you would be missing out on those drums during the playback of the song.
