pro tip:
if you are receiving midi clock and e.g. notes from a daw and sending them through the beatbuddy to give downstream devices both the clock and those notes, you will want to use midi merge.
make sure you go into beatbuddy settings under midi out DISABLE the sync.
if you don’t, it will send the sync from the merge and the sync out, resulting in double sync and doubled BPM!!!
this took me all day to realize lol
