Hi I figured there may be some drummers on here and I’d like to ask a question.
Finishing on the ol’ cliche’ crash, does one usually hit the kick at the same time as final crash? I know there’s different way to do it of course but in general is the crash and kick played at same time on very last note? thank you.
p.s any other help on endings would be much appreciated too
Just asked Moises (Traded his drummer soul to work at Singular Sound) and he says yes, the kick gives the crash a bit of extra oomph that helps on ending it. Otherwise it’s too airy.
