I just tested my ten-year old pedal and a new one, both using firmware 4.1.6; my SD cards are interchangeable and work well on either pedal. This includes the factory card as well as my 32Gb cards.

I donāt think Iāve ever upgraded my old one. I keep reading about problems with newer versions and besides one incident it has never given me troubleā¦ie. donāt fix what aināt broke. I just use it as a drummer, no midi or aeros. I make my set lists, set the foot switches toā¦previous song left , next song right when stopped. left accent hit, right pause/restart when playing. works for me and very simple. I also pretty much use one push songs or a generic beat for some longer blues rock stuff. now I wonder if my back up sd cards will only work in the one machine, I guess I should update 4.1.6. thanks for the reply. this forum is great even though much of the content is way past my understanding.
Hi Brian, Iām pretty new to all this, but I just bought a second BB and had to update all my older cards via the website, then insert them into the new BB. If you donāt get a more educated opinion about this, try that. Good luck and lemme know how you make out. Everything needs to be updated to 4.6.1. If all else fails, Daniel at support is awesome.
