I haven’t yet made the change to BBMO, and still use BB Manager. In BB Manager to add a kit, you use File>Import>Drum Set, and select the .drm file. I am certain that BBMO has a similar procedure explained in its manual.

If using BB Manager, after the kit is installed, find the kit in the drum set list in BBM and click the box in front of its name. That enables the kit for use in the BB.

Do you know if it’s possible to also get the stock patterns from the DRM16?

My source only had the sound files. You might try searching the web for the midi patterns. If you find them, let us know.
