I just dialed this in recently using Songwriter Brushes 5, 100bpm, Rock kit. The secret sauce is a new affordable reverb pedal I bought dedicated to my BB only. Flamma FC02 Mini Reverb $36 bucks and brings life to tunes like Eminence Front on the Church or Plate setting.
The ONLY thing missing is killer synth drums and toms riff leading into the song.. but works solid for the main beat.

What do you mean by “dedicated to the BB”?
I use a Line 6 Pod Go for all my guitar effects so I bought this inexpensive reverb just for the BB so the BB runs right into the reverb and then out to the drum speaker.

I gotcha. So why wouldn’t that work with toms?
I guess you would have to import toms to Brushes 5.
