Just did a firmware update on the app and this happened. I did a search and someone said to choose 'Update Default Modes", but that didnt work. Please help, thank you.

Try turning the Maestro off and then back on again.
Activate the Bluetooth on the back of the pedal.
Try to update the Default Modes again.

Update firmware (eprom error), pwr off, pair and update modes. Good to go. Thanks
