My android Bluetooth seems to be connected and successfully downloaded the app. When I go to update firmware, it gives a progress flag and after 10 or 15 sec times out without updating the firmware
Note that the pedal update happens from non-connected state, so the blue light needs to be blinking 
Also, do a power cycle just in case. My experience is that if MM has been connected with Bluetooth then it can’t be updated before turning off and back on again
