Hello. It would be nice if the firmware allowed an option to choose whether drum fills are played in order or randomly. I believe the initial beatbuddy played randomly, but I’m not sure. In any case, being able to choose between the two behaviors would be a nice feature.

You can do this with the BB manager, but could be fine to have this on the gear !
I’ll need to look to see what you mean… is there an option per song whether fills are random? If so, it seems I would need to modify and resave all the existing/default library, since they all apply fills sequentially.
Yes, you can choose random or not, using the arrows as shown in the photo. They are random by default, but you can also change the order of the fills by replacing them as you like. Bur the idea to have this on the gear is good

Cool. Thanks. After looking at BBMO and thinking about it, what seems to make sense to me for a global option on the pedal would be 3 choices for fill playing order, something like: Use Song Settings, Fills in Sequence, or Random Fills
You can do this in BBMO as well, but you have to go to the song and part you want and set the fills to randomise, then save and sync to card.
You would have to do this on EVERY part of EVERY song you wanted to!
This was already pointed out above. Quite inconvenient, but a possible workaround. Hence the idea to make a global option that can be changed on the fly on the pedal. That would also allow individual songs to be setup a certain way, while still allowing to choose this behavior overall, e.g., for all the default content
NYHC had pointed out how to do it in BB Manager. BBMO has a slightly different layout and as I use this, then thought I would just point out how to do it in BBMO.
I agree, a firmware update to give you master control in the pedal would be good idea.
