I see some user files have .sng and others .pbf. What’s the difference?

An .sng file is usually just a single song while a .pbf is a compilation of several songs such as those in a set list (Guitar Stu) or from a BBM folder (Phil).

You can import or export either file type from the BBM. The .pbf format makes it easy to export a folder of songs that you’re working on for backup purposes.

If you buy premium song e.g., “Best of this group” content, they’ll usually come bundled as a .pbf.
