Hello, tried to update the firmware on the beatbuddy today for the first time. I see the message that says the firmware is being updated. But then the screen changes to a blue background with the vertical moving between beats 1, 2, 3, and 4 continuously. I’ve left it running for a long time and this is still what I see. How does the firmware update normally indicate that it has completed?
Never mind, it must be a new setting that has the tempo and moving bars even when not playing. Firmware version displays as updated.
It’s completed, I think. The blue background with the bar moving is the normal at rest state. The moving bar is an indication of what tempo is set. When you start to update firmware, the BB says “updating firmware.” When it’s done, it just goes to the ready position.
