The name is based on the BeatBuddy track that was used, “Swung Funk” from the “Drums With Percussion” folder. I changed the letters around just to make it unique. I also slowed the BPM down to about 86, I think, and changed the drums to the Rock kit (it originally had the Standard Pro drum kit). This track didn’t have an intro and I couldn’t change the BeatBuddy settings and re-record it because my BeatBuddy stomp switch developed an intermittent short (I’ve fixed it since then). Anyhow, I created an intro using 4 beats from a section where it was mostly a cowbell.
The song features a sequenced Behringer Poly D analog synth in poly mode (panned a bit to the right). A Minimoog provides the bass track as well as a solo track. The guitar is a Fender Strat. As I mentioned before, the BeatBuddy was controlling the Behringer’s sequencer speed via midi.
