This is a correction to the original… much better pdf cheatsheet, better cues.
Remember, this is Earle…he skips beats every so often. The short three note riff is occasionally done like there’s a silent fourth beat, on occasion he just says to hell with the fourth beat. His band just seems to know what to do. Good luck!

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to thank you for it, Phil. I thought there had to be some weirdness with the timing on Guitar Town, because I tried this with a “straight” beat and would end up with the beginning of a line in the middle of a measure. I can’t use the OPB you created, because I need to transpose the song to a higher key, but I listened to it and it sounds great. I would love to be a fly on the wall watching how you do all this fascinating work. You’re very talented!
