Help with Aeros auto recording when BeatBuddy 2 changes parts

I just got my Aeros today and I’m trying to record a loop in 2X2 mode. I will start the BB2 and when I’m ready record the guitar part, then hit play to playback the recorded part. The issue is that when the BB2 changes parts the Aeros stops playback and starts recording. How do I stop this from happening? I’ve turned off Auto Record.

Hello,

This happens because when you transition from one part to another on the BeatBuddy, the Aeros also transitions to a new part in 2x2 mode. The easiest way to prevent this is by using 6x6 mode instead.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve since learned that I can disable the “Next Part” midi command on the BeatBuddy 2. That solved the problem in both 2x2 and 6x6 modes.

If anyone should find this thread in the future and is looking for a fix, here’s what I did.

Beatbuddy 2: Settings>Midi>Out>Next Part>Disable
