Can I ask for help, I have been offered a AKAI Professional MPD16 USB MIDI Pad Control Unit and I wanted to know if it can be used to make up the beats for the Beat Buddy, also if it can be used what other software/hardware will I need?. Cheers Dave
If you are able to get a complete MIDI file out of it - then yes.
I haven’t tested this yet, but the latest firmware version might accept the incoming MIDI notes, yet it will only play them momentarily without looping any of them (even if it accepts them in the first place!).
