Hey Daniel, sorry to interrupt here but I can’t find anywhere to add a new post.
Try again. There should be a large blue dot in the bottom right of the screen. Press that and it allow you to start a new topic.
Later today I will move your post to a separate thread.
IIRC you have to be on a top level page to see the Blue Dot +. You can click the name of a category or the Singular Sound logo.

Do you need to have a certain amount of time/replies before you can post? I’m new and don’t appear to have any option to start a new topic.
Edit to add: I have not passed ‘new user status’ and I can now see the big blue dot! Thanks
I’m a new user and also unable to start a discussion, apparently new users cannot do that. It is quite confusing and this is the only topic that gave me some guidance as to why I would not be able to post.

Look at the screenshot.
Do you see this blue circle on the bottom right when you are logged in to one of the main pages or a subforum? You need to click on that to create a new topic.
(If you do not see it, let us know.)
Keep in mind that blue circle will not appear on a page with an active discussion such as this one. Go one level up to the list of topics/discussions, and you should see it.
