From the Beatles White Album. John wrote this while in India after being exhausted from meditating all day and knowing that his marriage to Cynthia was on the rocks.
As far as instrumentation, Paul overdubbed the organ part because the piano was barely audible. You can hear it on the new re-release, but it’s barely there.

Nicely done as usual thanks Phil. I tried a number of ‘+ Hammond’ kits I often use and settled on ‘P-Bass&Hammond 72+C2’. A few piano kits work as well and make for interesting comparisons.
