I have created .mid files in Logic X. When I import to file manager the song will play fine. The problem I am having is that when I right click and choose edit there are no notes to edit.
Probably less time and aggravation if you edit your MIDI in Logic Pro X totally instead of trying to edit using the BeatBuddy Manager (BBM) MIDI Editor for fine-tuning.
True. Just confused as to why I they don’t show up in the editor.
Some midi files that trigger drums have very short notes, as they will trigger the full drum hit, even though they are short. BB originally worked this way in all notes, not recognizing “note offs.” Unfortunately in the built in midi editor, which was not developed by Singular, these short hits, which are just a couple ticks long, do not appear. If you put the file into a DAW, select all notes and make them slightly longer, then save and put that file into a BB song, the notes will be visible.
Thanks, I will give that a try
