Notes:

  • After first chorus, 2 Count in to verse
  • Wrote in a tempo slowdown at the end that didn’t come through. Can anyone help with that? I use cakewalk to program midi.
  • I always do 1 page pdf chords and lyrics
  • I like the drums loud, so beware (kick and snare at 127)
  • Borrowed this format from others… Thanks!

You can use time-stretching to get the ritardando (slow-down) that you need. Although Phil_Flood provided a tutorial for creating a ritardando using Logic Pro X, the principles are generally the same.
