'Invalid SD' Error Message

A possibility, but not necessarily the reason, is a counterfeit/fake Sandisk SD card. Some places, particularly eBay has been a source of fake cards. Even Amazon if from a 3rd party seller and not sold by and from Amazon

Thank you. It doesn’t look like a fake card. It looks perfectly legit. I also bought it in a physical store, so the risk of it being fake should be close to zero.

You are a lifesaver! (SD card was locked)

Glad to have helped.

I have the same problem other users on this thread have had: an invalid SD card error message. However, none of the recommended steps have helped. The problem arose with a firmware update. Would it be possible to purchase a replacement BeatBuddy SD card? Or can you recommend further steps?

Will sdxc not work?

Singular Sound products requirements are for SDHC cards.

Thank you.

This may help explain the difference:

The max size that Singular Sound products recognize is 32Gb; SDXC cards start at 64Gb.
