Is there a way to disable the TAP for beat feature?

I sometimes am activating the TAP for beat feature in the middle of some songs with my foot ;). Is there a way to disable the TAP feature?

If you mean on the external footswitch, then yes, this is detailed in section 4 of the BeatBuddy manual.

I actually was wanting to disable “tap” on the pedal not the external footswitch. It is on the pedal that I am sometimes putting it into “tap” mode.

The answer then is no - however how are you entering tap tempo mode accidentally? I have never heard of this “issue” - I am probably missing something.
