Hi. I’m using BB with Midi Maestro, in conjunction with Onsong.using the midi commands from Onsong via Bluetooth. All works well, (start/stop, scroll up/down etc) apart from the Accent Hit feature…….which does precisely nothing. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a possible fault on the MM box?
Look forward to hearing some suggestions from users out there.
Thanx
Tone.

Hi Tone,
Please try using BeatBuddy mode with a default drum set. If the Accent Hit still doesn’t work, kindly send a detailed video to support@singularsound.com so we can assist you further.
Hi,
I had a similar issue before – Accent Hit (MIDI CC#111) wasn’t triggering anything either.
Here are a few things to double-check:
- OnSong MIDI command
Make sure you’re sending:
Control Change (CC) 111, value 127
That’s the default for Accent Hit in BeatBuddy. - BeatBuddy settings
- Go to:
Settings > Main Pedal > Accent Hit
- Ensure the sound is assigned (not “None”)
- Volume is not set to 0
- MIDI Maestro
If you’re using MM as a MIDI thru or filter, make sure it’s not blocking CC#111. - MIDI Chain
Try bypassing the Maestro and connect OnSong → BeatBuddy directly (via WIDI or cable), to check if the command works.
Hi,
Thanks for this. Unfortunately it didn’t work for me, so I’m beginning to think I may have a faulty unit.
Thanks again.
