LCD screen garbled

This is only my second time plugging in BeatBuddy. It works, but the LCD screen is garbled and unreadable. You got a fix for this?

Welcome, Bob. Try these steps in sequence

  • double-check and make sure you are using the power adaptor that came with the pedal
  • check that the power jack is fully seated and not loose; unplug it and plug it back in
  • remove and reseat the SD card
  • update the firmware to 1.8.5
