LIFE IN THE FAST LANE (OPBk) 1.1 - EAGLES/JOE WALSH

The opening riff was actually Joe Walsh’s warmup exercise that he would use to loosen up! Glen Frey heard it and wrote the lyrics.



Anyway … this one has been rough…there are only VERY poor cheatsheets on it, chords are typically wrong … SO, what to do.



Use the TAB … aside from the riff, the ABSOLUTE most important chord is used for an E in most cheats … XX6777 (make sure you mute strings 1&2. It gives that funky chord that they used. Tehn work out each section, remembering that you’ll NEVER do on one guitar what they did on three or more. But its fun anyway.



Uses NP STANDARD BASS RHODES (The rhodes is closest to the very fain ‘clavinet’ that they use onstage
