We plan on the newer version of BBM to really make this process super simple and also not have multiple manuals for it lol!
All in due time 
The BBM or firmware version may have options to output equalized or any mixing converter for each song.
The BB is a great device when listening by earphones, but even using a EQ after or a good P.A system, the equalization of a song would not be the same for all drumsets/Midi files.

This is the nature of the production of each drumset
There is no current solution other than to make drumsets yourself that sounds how you want them to if you’d like to, but we are tinkering with incorporating volume per instrument and per sample control in drumset creation and this would likely help some with the mix of drumsets working across the bar.
As far as EQ it’s a neat idea but not possible on BB
