Loud noise when you turn on the Aeros Loop Studio

Don’t know if that can be fixed in the software but when I have my headphones on and I turn on the Aeros Loop Studio, for a second there’s a high pitch noise coming from the device that hurts my ears.

Could this be fixed via software update maybe?

Is it making this noise in the 5.30 beta? and if not, which version of the firmware is installed on your looper?

If you have any other cables connected to your pedal, please disconnect them and try again thru your headphones. What about output using speakers, does it still pop when cycling the power on?

Are you using the Singular Sound power supply and if not, what are you using?

Yes, it does the noise in 5.30 version. I am using original power supply. Everything is disconnected from the looper as well. It happens on the speakers and headset.

You may want to try reloading the firmware and if it still is making noise, revert to the previous official release and contact support@singularsound.com for help.

UPDATE: I just tested my Aeros with firmware 5.3b using both right and then left outputs and I get no noise.

Given that no other users have reported this as an issue, and you’ve tested by reinstalling the beta firmware or reverted to the previous official firmware release and you’re still getting the noises, you should contact SUPPORT@SINGULARSOUND.COM for help.

Please let us know what it took to resolve your startup noise.

Yes mine always has made a ‘thump’ when first powering up.
I make sure my amps are turned on last.
