Hello, I am looking for a midi ready looper pedal that is tightly integrated with both Beatbuddy and Maestro. The Aeros look studio is not affordable for me, and it is total overkill for what I need. Does anybody know if SS may be working on a more affordable looper pedal that will offer same level of native integration with Beatbuddy and Maestro?
Additionally, assuming i will not be able to pick up a used Aeros in my budget, and there is not a lower cost one in the works, is there a cost effective midi ready looper pedal that could be tightly integrated with beat-buddy and maestro with suficient programming effort?
Thanks
Bob
Who knows what SS will do.
If you want a very powerful, flexible looper at a great price ($29), get Loopy Pro for iPad and iPhone (and Mac sooner or later). You’ll need some sort of digital out or an interface and midi footswitches (like the $30 Mvave Chocolate).
I can definitely recommend the Aeros in the long run, as it’s fully integrated with the BeatBuddy and Maestro. However, I don’t have a recommendation for an alternative, as I personally only use the Aeros. At this time, there are no new looper releases planned.
I already have the maestro midi controller and I have an old macbook pro lying around the house so a soft looper could make a lot of sense. Thanks for the suggestion.
My preference is to go the Aeros route but will need to save up for a while. Thanks!
There’s some integration nd perhaps better than most, but the Aeros is far from fully, seamlessly integrated with the Beatbuddy. Hoping there’s improvement here over time.
