Attached link will take you to a package titled “Merengue for BB.” I created the kit using the merengue instruments from Duro Samples. There are 2 drums generally referred to as congas - the conga and the quinto,. a smaller two-sided drum called the tambora, and a large metal tube with teeth - the Dominican Guira.
It is played with the rasp shown above.
The package contains a .drm file, a .pbf folder containing several ground of midi files arranged into BB songs, which are presented for demonstration purposes, and two folders of midi files used in those songs, which you can use to create your own merengue songs.
The songs are drums only, but the kit has plenty of room to add a bass and other instruments, should someone choose to do so.
