Hello everyone, I’m having a problem recording an SM 58 microphone with a suitable cord that comes out of a jack.
I tested the cord; it works fine elsewhere, but as soon as I plug it into the AEROS, I get practically no sound even if I turn the settings all the way up.
I tested it with two other microphones; it’s exactly the same: a Sennheiser E602 and an E609.
I get a little more sound with a copy of the Shure 520 for harmonica, but the sound is very poor.
It’s mainly for recording shakers, background noise, and percussion.
If anyone has any ideas, I’m all ears.
Note that I previously worked with a Boss RC505; the sound was truly impeccable. Thank you in advance for your answers.
You’ll need a mic preamp to boost the signal to the Aeros. I think the Rolls MP13 has been recommended at some point in time in this forum, but a different mic preamp could be used as well if it has a 1/4" output. The Aeros input is ‘unbalanced’ so a 1/4" TS to TS cable should be used to connect.

merci pour vos réponse je ne vois pas trop les câbles dont vous parlez, mais je suppose que c’est pour passer du XLR au jack?
Quoi qu’il en soit, je vous remercie, je vais chercher un MP13 ou ag06
sorry I forgot to translate
