I want to be able to change the Midi Out|Start setting via Midi commands after a BB song has started playing. With the Aeros slaved to the BB with Midi Out|Start set to ‘Main Beat’, I want to change Midi Out|Start to ‘Disable’ after a loop has been recorded into the Aeros. This will allow the Aeros loop to play nonstop through all of the BB song parts.

I’d prefer to send a command to the BB to this directly, but I’ve started using a CME U6Midi Pro between the Aeros and the BB to handle this.
That device (and a few other CME products) can filter out selected messages. It also has four profiles that you can choose via MIDI. One profile can disable the start command, another enables it.
You can also change the routing (e.g., change Midi from BB → Aeros to Aeros → BB) in the same way for other needs.
Hoping there’s an integrated AerosBuddy product in the future that handles this integration seamlessly (and more intutively than two disconnected products).
