I have a question about the tap tempo feature in the beatbuddy. I know by now that I can assign any of the two footswitches to act as a tap tempo but then lose the ability to scroll up or down depending which footswitch I assign. I also do know that before starting the song I can hold down the main pedal and it will go into tap tempo mode. Is there any other option with let’s say small midi foot controller to increase and decrease the tempo with increments while playing the song? And if we are using a device to do that then the beatbuddy is receiving midi messages but can it also send midi messages at the same time for example to voicelive 3 extreme. I use the the beatbuddy with the voicelive 3x and I use the midi out feature so that the voicelive receives the tempo from the beatbuddy for looping purposes. So is anyone using something like i described to achieve the tempo changes during the performance?
If someone can name a product that they’re using to achieve this, then that would be really helpful.
