I have and LOVE my MM, Aeros and BB. However I would like to control the channel switching on my 5150iii with the midi maestro. The issue is when I add the 5150 to the midi chain I can not change channels (using custom mode). If I take the beat buddy out of the midi chain I can change channels. Is there a setting on the BB im missing to allow the commands to pass through the Beat Buddy?

Just to be clear yes, go to the BeatBuddy settings (press both the drum set and tempo knobs at same time) and go to Main Pedal > MIDI Settings > MIDI Out > Output Type to find the settings shown in the image above
