So I have inputted all the correct CC Codes and commands, I’ve set up the assigns in the RC500 and uploaded everything to the MM.
Nothing works.
Anyone got any ideas why the custom mode is not working to control my RC500.
It is driving me mad!

The MIDI to TRS cable needed to connect to the RC500 needs to be a ‘Type A’ MIDI cable. A ‘Type B’ is wired differently and will not work with the RC500. If you have the BOSS BMIDI-5-35 cable it should work as it’s a ‘Type A’.
I bought two of these cables from Sweetwater which do work to sync my BeatBuddy and RC500. This cable does need a standard male to male MIDI cable between this cable and the female MIDI DIN connection on the device. The BOSS cable does not need the extra cable as its MIDI DIN connector is male

Beyond a possible cable problem I haven’t dug into controlling the RC500 with CC commands, so I can’t help there.
