When footswitch is plugged in mini begins lights progressing from genre to song to tempo and only stop when mini 2 select is pushed…mini 2 works on it’s own however only footswitch accent works, pause button has no function…it worked just fine for 1st gig
Make sure you are using the TRS cable and not a TS cable. Also make sure the TRS cable is not malfunctioning.

It indeed was the cable. In moving it to a new pedal board they got switched and a mono cable causes those symptoms
