Mute Toggle Immeditely Midi CC

Had situation tonight where a long running track took a looong time to mute./unmute waiting for the EOL my global default).

Please add the following commands to Mute Toggle Immediately Tracks 1-6:

Mute/Unmute Track Immediately CC Mutes/Unmutes track depending on current state (track # = value #-90)
91 Mute/Unmute Track 1
91 Mute/Unmute Track 1
92 Mute/Unmute Track 2
93 Mute/Unmute Track 3
94 Mute/Unmute Track 4
95 Mute/Unmute Track 5
96 Mute/Unmute Track 6

The versions that mute or unmute (but do not toggle based upon the state) would take twice as many midi buttons (one for each mute and ome for each unmute).

Alternatly midi command that allowed changing the default mute/unmute timing while playing could also work with the existing toggle command.

We do have a command that mutes immediately, but I’m not sure I understand your request. Could you please clarify what you would like to achieve?

CC: 38

Mute Immediately 71 Value 71: Mute Track 1 Immediately
72 Value 72: Mute Track 2 Immediately
73 Value 73: Mute Track 3 Immediately
74 Value 74: Mute Track 4 Immediately
75 Value 75: Mute Track 5 Immediately
76 Value 76: Mute Track 6 Immediately

The subtle distinction is that the current midi doesn’t support toggling. There’s a command to mute immediately and a command to unmute immediately but nothing that toggles based upon the current state.

Toggle midi commands are great for a single button that can’t get “out of sync” with the current (toggle) state.

CC:38 (Mute/Unmute Track, value 1–6) does toggle the mute state based on the current status of the track (i.e., it mutes if unmuted, and unmutes if muted).

Let me know if you’re seeing different behavior or if you need help setting it up!

Yes, but it does the toggle at a timing based upon a system setting. The ask is for toggle mute immediately always (independent of the system setting which might be eol or eom).
