When I step on the right switch on foot switch it moves 2 songs ahead instead of one. Stepping on the left switch to move up the song list moves up 2 songs instead of one. Do I have to change something on the foot switch so that it only moves to the next song in the list…

Try checking footswitch settings on the BeatBuddy - press the “Drum set” and “Tempo” knobs down together and navigate through the menus by turning and pressing the “Tempo” knob. My guess is that the problem lies in the “Latching” option for the footswitch. I think your footswitch is moving one song ahead as you press the switch and one more when you release it. Try changing that option to whichever the opposite of the current setting.
